Key Stage One Class Teacher

Wheelock Primary School is a highly successful school located in Sandbach, Cheshire. The school is a member of The Learning Partnership; a new multi-academy trust of 15 schools formed from two predecessor trusts, serving families across the Cheshire East and Staffordshire area.

The school seeks to appoint a full-time primary teacher, as growing enrolment necessitates more staff to educate students while allowing the Senior Leadership team to focus on improving children's education.

The successful candidate will be highly creative and motivated to inspire our young children to make excellent progress on their learning journey within the school. We welcome applications from talented and enthusiastic professionals who have high expectations and ambition for themselves and their pupils. Candidates with experience of teaching KS1 will be of particular interest to us, however, there may be movement to other year groups as time progresses. You will be committed to improving the lives of our children while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school.

Key Stage Two Class Teacher

Due to an increase in the Published Admission Number, the school aims to appoint a full-time permanent primary teacher that will enable the school to expand to two classes per year group.

Teaching Assistant SEN Support

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and hard-working Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team of staff at Wheelock Primary School.

The position will primarily be supporting a child on a 1 to 1 basis, but will also involve other 1 to 1 and small group work both inside and outside the classroom, as directed by the class teacher. The position is offered on a temporary basis, and the contract will be linked to the child’s attendance at the school and will be terminated if they were to leave. The position available is to start as soon as possible.

Experience of working with children with SEND would be an advantage. A nurturing and inclusive approach is essential. You will be expected to be well organised and flexible with high expectations of attainment, achievement and behaviour and have a drive to make a difference to the education of all pupils. You will have excellent communication skills and evidence of continued professional development.
